Drive Against Black Marketing Of Kerosene
Patna DM Jeetendra Kumar Sinha on Thursday said the district administration has launched a drive in the town and its adjoining areas to check black-marketing of kerosene oil.
Sinha said a team of district officials raided a place located near Tapovan Colony and seized about 1,120 litres of kerosene oil which was to be distributed through PDS shops. None of the local businessmen claimed ownership of the seized consignment which was kept at a hidden place, he said.
The DM said sale of kerosene in black market is an offence. The administration would initiate stern action against all those involved in black-marketing of essential items, he added.
