Keane hires first marketing chief
Software company Keane Inc. hired John Riley as its first chief marketing officer.
Mani Subramanian, chairman and CEO of San Ramon-based Keane, will be Riley’s boss.
Riley worked previously in the marketing and branding industries.
Last summer, Keane then based in Boston was taken private in an $854 million cash acquisition by little-known Caritor Inc. of San Ramon, which retained the Keane name for the merged company. Its U.S. client management unit is based in Boston.
