Student finds profit in online marketing
“It was my best friend Fleur de lyn who was fond of surfing the Net and she saw this supplier. She told me to check it out and tell her if I’m interested because there’s free shipment for six pieces,” Michelle said.
The idea of calling a Manila-based supplier excited Parawan who was already exposed to the world of ready-to-wear (RTW) clothes in her elementary years seeing her elder sister, Yvette selling bags and RTW to friends and classmates.
Although she got loyal patronage from fellow students at St. Theresa’s College, Michelle also got her share of “runaway payees.”
Taking note of her mistakes made Parawan a better businesswoman.
