Marcheta Sparrow, Kentucky Commerce Secretary, announced the new marketing director for the Kentucky Department of Parks.

LaDonna Miller will oversee marketing for a system of 52 state parks, including 17 resort parks that feature restaurants, lodges and cottages.

Miller was the director of sales and marketing for the Belle of Louisville since 2003. Some of her accomplishments include converting the sightseeing vessel into a lunch and dinner cruise. She also oversaw special events like Thunder Over Louisville and the Great Steamboat Race.
