SCOTTISH Courage, the beer retailing division of Edinburgh-based Scottish & Newcastle, is to restructure its marketing arm with the loss of 15 jobs this month.
A company spokesman insisted the move was not a cost-cutting exercise, but was aimed at increasing “marketing effectiveness” at the group, which brews John Smith’s, Miller, Kronenbourg and Beck’s beers.
